ABOUT OUR FARM
Connorridge Farms is a multigenerational family farm seeking to supply healthy foods. We care about biodiversity, animal welfare, clean water, supporting Iowas farmers and availability of whole, local foods.
We started planting our orchard, vinyard and vegetable garden after moving to Iowa in 2013. In 2015, we took the plunge with our first milk cow, Candy. At that point, milking every day, things started to feel like a real farm. In 2020, we decided to start selling produce to our neighbors. Our hope is to provide hyperlocal food that can be picked up on the way home without a special trip, to share what we have when it is in seasonable abundance, and to provide boasting rights given the pride we take in our work. Grandpa Jack has a passion for fine foods, wines, and cheeses. Grandma Connie lives for restored Prairie and native forests, planting thousands of trees in the years since she's arrived. Georgina and Mike care about biodiversity, healthy foods and water, and raising kids with a strong work ethic and respect for balance.
In 2026 we became a legal creamery, selling local cheese from our Prairie-grazed mini-jersey milking cows. We hope to continue to expand.... ice cream, native Christmas trees, a farm store and prairie education. But we need your support: follow us on facebook/insta as this tiny farm may need some social media love to make it work.
